I would be upset if for some reason VS did away with our bio pages. I think it actually is what makes Flirt stand out from other sites amoung other things too but I like that we have a bio page. I think it does let the people who are thinking of coming into our rooms know more about us and I often times will have them ask me questions about the stuff I have wrote about on my bio page. I have even attracted certain people who say they came to me because of the fantacys I have or because of what I said I like to do. Of course also the photos get talked about too, but it isn't always the thing people talk to me about off of my bio page. Lots of times im sure they don't bother reading my bio because they are just in a hurry to watch me live, but also I think they go back and look at it when they look for things to talk to me about too.

Doug sweetie, it is because you are in FL baby, and I have FL blocked

I understand that at first I thought something was wrong with my system but customer service explained it to me.

I was just pointing out that if some of us ask you questions and they are answered in your bio's it might not be that we are too lazy to read your bio's but that your bio is blocked and therefore we can not read it. So the only way we have to find out about you is for us to ask you questions. So all I asking is don't think we are to lazy to read but that we can not read a blocked bio. Just keep that in mind when someone asks you questions that are answered in your bio. It maybe because we want to know about you and that your bio is blocked and not available to us to read. So before you get mad and give us a hard time find out if maybe we are from someplace your bio is blocked, like Florida.

but over all I do like to read the bio's and viewing the photo's, but I do have the greatest respect for you ladies here on F4F, I like many others that come here I hate it when a person comes into your rooms and the first thing is to ask you to do this or that wanting freebies and fill the chat with their begging. When I see a beggar I like to tell them stop being so cheap and take you ladies private and then they can see what they want. I have nothing but the greatest respect for the job you are doing and I hate when someone disrespects you all.

Generally if the bio is blocked, so is the room sweetheart. If you can enter the chat room than you can see the bio.

Well, i actually did do my whole Bio, so guys go ahead and read it lol if you're ever actually curious LOL.I used to have in my bio where i was from and such but i took it out. But when it was in there i still got asked where i was from so i noticed it was pointless.

I dont mind the questions, the only question that is funny is Do you want a pvt?,well hmm im online and thats what we do, why wouldnt i want one? Also are they fake or real? if i dont asnwer them, they're like i know they're fake... hmm ok if you already know then why did u ask in the first place?

i can always tell who do they're bios and who dont ..and most are lies hehe. mine at least is real.

I am curious again----lol.

Why would a model(or studio) want to block a state from being able to view their bio?

In my opinion, you would be potentially be losing privates because if a person cannot view your bio-- they may just pass for a model whos bio they can read.

however if they dont read bios then it wouldnt matter

Performers / studios usually decide to block a state as it is where the model lives - therefore making sure anyone that knows them cannot see what they are doing. It's a kind of safety net from oddballs from where they live / shop as well as making sure that family who dont know what they do for a job dont find out.

damn why do i make my posts long-winded and sound complicated?

This I dont have an answer for - only you know the reason.

The blocking feature is there as a privacy and/or safety issue for the models. It allows them to maintain a greater level of anonymity in their everyday life, being pretty sure that their work here on Flirt can not be seen by their family, friends, or anyone else with whom they have local personal contact. Think about it, how would you feel if your father, next door neighbor, the guy parking your car at a restaurant, or your 4th grade science teacher, had just seen you doing ATM with a 12 inch dildo? Models (or their studios) can choose to be seen by everyone everywhere with no blocking, or USA based models can choose to block individual states, and models based outside of the USA can block individual countries, that's just how it all works.

I understand the safety issues for blocking. However, this is a brave new world. There is no privacy. We all have to get used to this.
If I am blocked for accessing any product in a free market, then I would like to be afforded the same privileges and be able to block performers I do not want to see. Permanently.
We are tossed like unwanted bean bags everytime to rooms we do not choose.
Where ever there is human interaction, there is pain. On both sides of the cam.
If I am rejected by geographic discrimination, then please alot me to disable the performers I also do not want to see. I think this would be a fair balance.

always thought that would be a good idea, albeit not for the same reasons, i totally can respect that a model doesn't want her dad/cousin/brother/neighbor/trainer/doctor/etc to accidentally encounter her in what some deem a secretive lifestyle.. the technology is there to block the "avoidables" and if you as a VISITOR to the site happen to fall into a zone that a certain model has blocked, chalk it up as tough luck n move on, there are plenty of others in all parts of the world to choose from, Flirt today is as diverse as i have seen it in my many moons of visiting.

but i digress, back to your point, as a convenience, since all rooms are presented as suggestions i do think we should be able to mark certain rooms as not interested. however i do not think it is possible to due to the ever changing parameters of a model logging in. each time they do, i think the string is different at the end of the code.

Reading the posts above, I have stumbled across 3 or 4 bios I couldn't read in the last couple of weeks. This is when I'm actually in the model's room. This doesn't seem to be a regional thing. I just chalked it up to one of those little bugs that I'm sure they will kill soon.
